Donovan is a very handsome, young cairn mix who was found wandering stray in a Dallas suburb recently. No owner reclaimed him, so CLSR got involved. Our vet estimates him to be about 3 years old. Donovan weighs 15 lbs.

Donovan is a very good-natured and playful kid, getting along well with both people and other dogs here at his foster home. We think he was formerly someone's much loved pet as he's leash trained, potty trained and crate trained already. In CLSR's care, he's been neutered, dewormed and microchipped. He also has been brought up-to- date on his annual vaccinations. Thankfully, he tested negative for heartworms, and we're keeping him on monthly heartworm and flea preventatives to ensure that.

This cute boy is very athletic and has a bit of escape artist in him, so care has to be taken around open doors and gates. He loves to get your pettings and attention! And he also loves to play with the other foster cairns or with toys -- stuffed animals particularly. He has a cheerful, happy-go-lucky air about him all the time.
